Description
This program is designed and tailored to students wishing to enter into the Environmental Survey or Consultancy Industry. Students will be instructed into the methods used for monitoring environmental insect and related invertebrate Bio-Diversity and Assessment.
Practical instruction is the emphasis of this program with a hands on approach.
The course will be conducted outdoors weekly over a 6 week period commencing in early 2026.
NOTE: This course will only be conducted twice yearly and only 10 places have been allocated, so the Institute advises that you enroll early to secure your position.
NOTE: Pre Paid and Pre - Enrolled students will be given first acceptance to these courses.
COURSE UNIT REQUIREMENTS: Students for the Entomological Field Technicians Course must complete the following Courses and Modules prior to enrolling:
Introduction to Entomology (Certificate Course) - NIOE - 01C
Insect Morphology and Structure (Certificate Course) - Module 1 - NIOE - 06C
Insect Morphology and Structure (Certificate Course) - Module 1 - NIOE - 07C
