Description
The Order Phasmatodea include some of the longest insects on earth. Many are cryptic and difficult to observe. Others are commonly bred as pets while still others have been known to strip forest plantations bare.
This course will look at the entire order of the Phasmatodea (Stick Insects), their interesting parthenogenetic breeding abilities and their amazing ability to repopulate after bushfires.
NOTE: Students wishing to undertake this Module will need to have completed the Introduction to Entomology Course NIOE - 01C.
