Description
This 2 week course will introduce the student to the various methods and techniques uses in the identification of insects to the Ordinal Level. Introducing you to Dichotomous Keys, Diagrams and Prepared Specimens under high microscopic magnification, students will be guided to undertake their own identifications under the guidance of the course presenters.
By the end of the course, students will be able to do their own identifications with confidence.
NOTE: Students wishing to undertake this Module will need to have completed the Introduction to Entomology Course NIOE-10M and Insect Morphology Module 1 and 2.
